LITERACY
We have high expectations that all students will grow and achieve their full potential in their Literacy learning. Literacy competence is a foundation for success in life, and we place a strong emphasis on explicit teaching and structured lessons.
Our teachers work in teams to co-create rich lessons for Reading, Writing and Word Studies. Engaging sensory activities are utilised in the junior years for Reading Groups. Focussed teaching groups and Literature Circles are used in the middle and senior units.

DIGITAL TECHNOLOGIES
We consider it a high priority to expose our students to the ever-evolving digital world, with a range of digital resources in our school. Each classroom utilises computers, tablets, interactive whiteboards and big screen TVs to support student learning.
Our students are exposed to a range of computer and online software, as they are explicitly taught the skills required by the Victorian Curriculum.
INTEGRATED CURRICULUM
We teach History, Science, Geography, Civics and Citizenship, Design & Technologies, Digital Technologies, Health, Economics & Business, Critical and Creative Thinking, Intercultural Ethical and Personal & Social Capabilities.
Our students are active learners and are very interested in the word around them. Integrated Curriculum Units range from “My Neighbourhood” in Foundation, to “Sustainability”, “Children across the World”, and “I am a Scientist.”
